StockerYale is an innovative designer and manufacturer of LED-based illumination solutions for our global OEM clients. When designing custom LED-based illuminators, we do not limit ourselves to a single assembly method. Rather, we draw from our assembly tool kit on a case-by-case basis, incorporating various types of LED array building blocks to construct the most suitable, cost-effective solution for the application at hand.

| These miniature ringlights are an example of the highly specialized custom LED array designs provided by StockerYale. The demanding brightness and uniformity specifications for this pen-sized hand-held dental tool were particularly challenging due to the small size requirement. Chip-on-board technology provided the solution. An individual ellipsoidal lenslet is positioned over each of the twelve blue-emitting LED chips. The lenses are integrated into a custom-designed injection-molded plastic circular unit. |
