(NASDAQ: STKR - News), a leading designer and manufacturer of structured light lasers, LED modules and specialty optical fibers for industry OEMs, announced that 3.7 million shares, representing 10.5% of its outstanding shares, owned by the Eureka Interactive Fund, Ltd. were placed with several existing StockerYale institutional investors. The Eureka Interactive Fund, which is managed by Marshall Wace LLP, is in the process of being wound down for strategic reasons.
