StockerYale Inc. Introduces the New Lasiris(TM) Hi-Pointing Stability Laser and COBRA 2 Linescan LED Illuminator at Vision 2007

SALEM, N.H.--Nov. 2, 2007--StockerYale, Inc. (NASDAQ: STKR - News), a leading provider of structured light lasers, LED modules and specialty optical fibers for industry leading OEMs, will unveil two new products at Vision 2007 show in Stuttgart, Germany, November 6-8, 2007, booth #4C10.

The new addition to the Lasiris(TM) laser series is the Hi-Pointing Stability Laser. The main characteristic of this Lasiris(TM) laser is its ability to maintain a pointing stability smaller than 5 micro radian per degree Celsius. It is designed to support machine vision users that require a high degree of structured light stability for their sophisticated applications. Pointing stability is an important feature for applications that require high accuracy.

The second product to be unveiled is the COBRA 2. The first generation COBRA linescan illumination products consisted of 3 discrete length products (125mm, 250mm and 500mm) available in different product configurations. This was the first LED product that could compete with Halogen and metal halid based fiber optic line illumination. Since its launch there has been a positive market growth which has resulted in the development of the new COBRA 2. This new product addresses applications requiring a single illumination source greater than 0.5m. It is designed for the web inspection market and/or continuous manufacturing processes such as glass, plastic, steel and food processing.

"With the introduction of these two products, StockerYale will be able to target high end machine vision customers where brightness, uniformity and stability are essential for high end vision applications," said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mark W. Blodgett.
