StockerYale, Inc. to Present at AeA Micro Cap Financial Conference on May 17, 2005

Salem, NH, May 11, 2005 - - StockerYale, Inc., (NASDAQ: STKR), a leading independent provider of photonics-based products today announced it will present at the American Electronics Association's Micro Cap Financial Conference on Tuesday May 17, 2005 in Monterey, California . The conference, an investment event for technology companies under $200 million in annual sales or market cap, is held each spring. The conference's unique format allows more than 400 investors, analysts and fund managers to hear about technologies, strategic missions and trend analyses directly from executives of 120 technology companies. During the event, Mark W. Blodgett , StockerYale chairman, president and chief executive officer will discuss the Company’s strategy for growth and its participation in growing markets by providing illumination and specialty fiber solutions for applications in the industrial, defense, medical and telecommunications markets worldwide.
