SpecBright™ LED Module Accessories

Power Supplies

Our new Current Mode Power (CMP) supplies provide constant current to drive our SpecBright™ LED Illuminators. This product is an adjustable (manually or with a computer) current source power supply with user and hardware interfaces. The product features a potentiometer for current adjustments and a 0-5 V analog interface to remotely control our LED modules. The CMPs are fully assembled, enclosed in a DIN rail box, tested before shipment, and come with two output current options: 200 mA (CMP-M-200) or 400 mA (CMP-M-400).

In addition, we offer a wall plug-top power supply (24V) that comes with interchangeable plugs thus ensuring non-country specific operation. Please specify the part number PSU-M-C (module with connector) or PSU-M-F (module with flying leads) at the time of order.

Heat Sinks

For best operation, the housing temperature should not exceed 45 °C. StockerYale provides optimized heat sinks for use with our LED modules.

Please see the part number scheme on page 4 of our datasheets for instructions on how to order this accessory.

Strobe Drivers

The SpecBright™ LED Strobe Driver provides repeatable intensity control and timing/triggering functions of LED lighting for machine vision, industrial inspection, and biomedical applications. Due to the thermally optimized design, peak optical powers up to 50 times the CW optical power can be obtained using pulsing.

Connectors

Mini Universal Mate-N-Lok connectors are standard for voltage (V) source modules. They provide a secure locking mechanism and reverse polarity protection. See the mechanical diagram for details. If preferred, voltage source modules can also be manufactured with flying leads.

Flying leads are standard for current source (I) modules.

Please see the part number matrix for details on how to order these options or contact us for more details.
