What is the difference between the traditional StockerYale family of LED products and the new family of SpecBright™ LED Modules?
StockerYale’s traditional family of products, which included ringlights, linelights and area lights, was sometimes referred to as the “CXL” product line because of part numbering references – CAL, CLL and CRL. The new SpecBright™ family includes these configurations - and more. Enhancements include higher brightness, more wavelength options, and increased ease of integration, as well as a new LED spotlight product.

As a significant addition to the LED product line, StockerYale now offers a current mode controller. This CMP controller features intensity control, power on indicator, on/off switch, and a 0-5V analog input interface. This product is available as part of the new SpecBright™ family and was designed by StockerYale to work seamlessly with our full range of products. Some SpecBright™ Spotlights (SF1 style) are not currently configured to operate with the CMP current controller.

Other improvements in the SpecBright™ product line include standard options and accessories intended to complement the LED modules and help customers create a complete illumination system. Power supplies, connectors, strobe-enabled configurations and heatsinks are now all considered standard options. Moreover, some modules now include such options as standard backlight configurations for use in a variety of applications.

Our company continues to use your “CXL” LED products. What type of support can we expect to receive?
StockerYale is committed to supporting our clients who continue to use our CXL family of LED products. Consult the CXL technical brochure for specifications on these products or contact us if you require further assistance.
