StockerYales PMF-RC-820-B1 is a reduced clad polarization maintaining fiber designed for optimal performance in fiber optic gyroscopes, sensors, and telecommunication component applications. The reduced 80 µm cladding is engineered for applications requiring a tight bend radius with minimal bend loss and features an operating wavelength of 820 nm and a beat length of < 1.8 mm. Its bow-tie stress structure provides high birefringence while maintaining excellent spliceability to existing PM and single-mode fibers. We can also custom design this fiber to meet your specific design requirements.
Applications:
- Fiber optic gyroscopes (FOGs)
- Fiber optic sensors
- Connectivity between source laser and modulator
- Laser pigtailing
- Polarization-sensitive components
