StockerYale's Rectangular Phase Masks (RPM) are intended for a wide
variety of applications, including the fabrication of FBGs for various
fiber sensors, WDM filters and gain-flattening filters. These masks
can have a uniform period or can be chirped, with the chirp ranging
from zero to 40 nm/cm. In this product line, the active grating
zone can be as long as 45 mm.

StockerYale's Long Phase Mask (LPM) series is intended for the fabrication
of dispersion compensation fiber Bragg gratings. Dispersion compensation
FBGs have a small controlled chirp, which results in a high, precisely
determined level of dispersion. This intentional dispersion compensates
for unwanted chromatic dispersion introduced into telecom systems
by the material and waveguide properties of optical fiber. StockerYale's
LPM series is characterized by relatively long active zones (from
50 mm to 120 mm) and small controlled chirps (starting from as low
as 0.03 nm/cm). StockerYale also offers a zero chirp (uniform) period
LPM.

StockerYale offers a wide range of custom phase masks for the fabrication
of gratings in fiber, optical waveguides and integrated optical
circuits. Custom phase masks can involve several active grating
areas (possibly with different periods) on one substrate.
